A 5 year anniversary, an MBA completed, and a 30th birthday... allllll of this gave us the perfect excuse to reserve Nonny and Auntie as babysitters, pack our bags, and get the heck outta here :) We relaxed and refreshed ourselves in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. It was wonderful! I wish I could bottle up the heavenly atmosphere and give you each a large portion, but unfortunately pictures will have to do... enjoy!

Above, one of the reasons Carter wanted to stay here. We had out own golf cart to explore the entire massive resort... no actual golfing here, just lots of fun!!
I got to drive (a few times) and it really was so much fun!
Absolute deliciousness! Plantain chips and Caribbean pico and guac :) We were happy campers by the pool!

Then home it was... to see our sweet little girl who we missed so much! A little relaxing goes a long way, and we just couldn't wait to get back home to our baby :)
