The Fourth

The city of McKinney does our country justice on the 4th of July. They put on an all day long celebration and all for free. We went out to the park around 5pm to meet up with some friends from church. Violet had so much fun, as you can see in the pictures below, and she made it until about 9:30, which was about 10 minutes before the fireworks started! She did do a great job bearing the heat and staying up a good 2 hours past her bedtime, so we weren't too disappointed to miss the fireworks. We hope you all had a very enjoyable day celebrating our wonderful country and the freedom that we are blessed with. God bless the USA!

We had just arrived and Violet was in awe of all the bounce houses and balloons!
Getting ready for our train ride

Daddy helped Violet with her first time in the bounce house...

She quickly caught on!

They had balloon artists, face painters, and lots of games for the older kids!

Violet loves playing football with Daddy.

Snack break! (she looks so old to me right here... sad mommy!)
