here's your fair warning... there are lots of pictures on this post! the problem is that i don't want to forget any of these and since i'm using my blog as a sort of scrapbook i must post them :) the above pic i took as we were driving into harlingen. i just love those first palm trees driving in... you valley-ites know what i mean. i took it (and the other square pics below) with the instagram app on my phone... and if you don't have the instagram app, YOU MUST get it!!! (then find me... i'm jodyt) you can do lots of cool things with your phone pics. love it!

this little girl took off swimming. floaties, a noodle and time proved to be just what she needed to get comfortable in the water... and now after another set of swim lessons last week (dare i say it!) is swimming head under water minus the floaties!! but, that is another post...

this is the south padre marina where my grandparents used to spend 6 months of the year in their retired years. my family spent a lot of great time there! i think my mom has pictures of me running around in diapers there :) we weren't staying there, but I had to take a picture of it. xo
