Harlingen

After spending time at the beach we headed back to Harlingen to spend a week with Nonny and Pops, my sister's family and help clean out and sort what we could of Nana's house. We really had a great time :)

We spent many hours here at Nana's house... it's Ahh-mazing how much stuff one person can collect. I truly had a great time looking through her treasures and thinking about what a special lady she was.

And here is "husband of the year" if you ask me!! Not only did he agree to load up and cart these things back for me, but he got a nice little workout loading up this puppy in the heat.

...and the back of our car that was pulling the uhaul. To say that we were packed full is an understatement.

And if you didn't know anything about cotton season you would have thought it snowed. The cotton is a pretty sight!

Oh, and did I mention Jack was along for this whole ride? And he got a new collar out of the deal too :)

Our ride home provided gorgeous sky scenery thanks to tropical storm Don who didn't really do much (thankfully, for the farmers) other than give us gorgeous clouds.
What a great trip!!
