I want to share a few cute shots from our trip down to Harlingen a few weeks back...
The kids did amazingly well in the car both down and back up. It took us 11 hours to get down and 9 1/2 back up... Violet really had no reason to complain... her seat reclines back and she sat most of the time happily watching a show or reading a book, eating a snack or sleeping... baby Wes on the other hand sits backwards, of course, but poor thing, those carseats are like little heating pods. He was always so hot when we would stop and I would get him out to feed him, etc- :( He was a trooper, sweet boy!
It was such a treat to be able to stop in and see Auntie Jenn's 1st grade classroom! Violet LOVED LOVED looking around it and picking things up.... like the blue straws in the picture! This is Jenn's first year teaching and it's amazing how easy she makes it look! I know it's far from easy, but she has a beautiful room and such cute students that love her :)
Violet and Weston took their first bath together in my old bathtub growing up! I don't know why but this felt like a big milestone for me... probably because now they can both get clean at once and it's not so much of two bath times now!
We were so happy to meet our newest cousin baby Will!! He is my cousin Julie's little guy and just 2 1/2 months older than Weston. It was SO CUTE to watch them roll around on the blankets together "playing" with toys!!
