...Anyway, we will be going back to our normal weekday visits for years to come and I'm sure I'll regain my fondness. Due to the insane number of people and an indecisive toddler we missed some usual things... like the petting zoo and the cute farmer thing, however we were lucky enough to walk through all the buzzing and dinging of the games to find the little merry-go-round rides that Violet ended up loving, and really that made it all ok! That and we got to say hi to our shady tree :) Here are the pics...

it was fair...
All I can say about this day is DON'T and I repeat DON'T go to the fair on the weekend... especially the Sunday after TX/OU... with two kids (one who is 2) and two strollers... and think you will have fun. It won't happen!! Ha! Well, okay it wasn't ALL bad (we did smile for pictures :)), but it was sooo crowded and we were swimming upstream so bad at one point that I just wanted to scream at the insane line for Fletchers "the corn dogs aren't THAT good people" (even though they are...)

Every year we park it under the same shady tree... we have grown to love this tree and it was our first stop... we had to introduce Weston :)

This is not just any Corvette... here's the story... my dad sat in a Corvette at the fair 8 years ago and we took a picture, no biggie. Then he ended up buying one 4 years later... later when we got to looking at the picture closer turns out it was identical to his... color, model, etc AND bought in the Dallas area... So naturally he had to get a picture in this one. We'll see...... :)
