Today was Violet's first day of Mother's Day Out. I have to say, she did a fantastic job all things considered. She was very excited about it all right until we walked up to her classroom. Her little legs and arms were hanging on tight and she did NOT want me to put her down :( Mommy and Daddy left quickly hoping to minimize the tears. When I went to pick her up she got a few tears when she saw me, but they said she did great! She was sad, but managed to make it 5 hours without Mommy! Way to go, Violet! Her teachers did notice that she already recognizes colors and already says lots of words. We are so proud of her! Now what did Mommy do you ask? Well, I went to my bootcamp workout and then came home and worked on taping and painting our bathroom. Lots of work to go on that, but it was great to see some progress.
Here are some pictures of our dropoff...

Violet was not really wanting to pose for a picture this morning... excitement in the air :)
Thanks for the new dress, Grandma!

Carrying her lunchbox around the front yard!

With Daddy in the hallway of the church... a little unsure of things.

Sad little girl... this one tugs at my heart strings :(
We love you sweet girl!

Getting familiar with things. Those are her sweet teachers Miss Karyl (L) and Miss Norma (R).
