Best Buds!

I've posted this picture before, but it's just such a good one of our good boy Jonas. 

Our Jonas has definitely mellowed with age. The ripe old age of 11 has turned him into an even sweeter sap than he was back in the day :) He lets Jack eat food out of his dish... gives Jack his choice of the chew sticks... gives up so much quicker when we tell him to "go lay down" (still not on the first request, but hey, what can we really expect)... and the list goes on and on. Today Violet grabbed a nice chunk of his fur and skin and pulled hard... he just yelped and moved away. I was so proud of him for "turning the other cheek". I really didn't know he would do that. He's never gotten too aggressive with her, but we haven't trusted him completely... and still really won't, but it sure was nice to see him retreat so easily. And no matter how many discussions we have about sending him to the farm, his home is right here! He's a good 'old boy!
