We decided to take a trip to the Dallas Zoo today. What a great Memorial Day! The weather was great and it wasn't very crowded. Violet even spotted some of the animals. Since this was her first time up close and personal with the real animals (and not her plastic little people versions) she seemed a little bit unsure of their scale at times. I don't blame her though... those gorillas and alligators are intimidating! This trip I think her favorite was the rabbit and the pig.

No, this one is not a statue... and yes, this is the same zoo where the crazy gorilla got out of his cage a few years back... creeeeeepy! (there is glass in between)

Forget the stroller... big girls like to walk on their own :)
