November wrap-up

I decided that since there were too many fun and special moments past in November I would have to catch-up and blog a November wrap-up before continuing on.

i just loved going to the kids Thanksgiving feasts :) first stopping off and Weston's class to see his adorable turkey placemat and sweet little feather hat! he is in a classroom FULL of boys (not one girl) and they were so well behaved and fun to watch eat lunch. great teachers!! i love seeing him in action at school :)

then i headed over to Violet's classroom where they had named themselves their indian name. violet chose Swimming Crocodile! cause crocodiles are her favorite animal?!! what?!! okay :) her teachers had an amazing spread set up and the kids and parents enjoyed lunch after their sweet song!

love it!!!

one day in there we took a trip down to the Dallas Museum of Art to see the French posters exhibit and play at the new park across the street. what a great area!! we met up with our sweet auntie nones and mr miles :)

 another night in there we managed to grab some of our sweet friends and have them over for a kid-free dinner!! all of us have kids 4 and under so we rarely get to talk uninterrupted at gatherings... this night we actually got to talk and hang out for a couple of hours. we love these dear friends!!

i forgot my "real" camera on Thanksgiving at grandma and grandpa's house, so instagram had to suffice... v&w had a great time outside playing and enjoying our lovely weather

they also both confirmed that they love eggnog :) 

in fact, we've learned on more than one occasion now that it can just substitute for a coming meal. did yall know kids don't even need food and can live off eggnog?! well, now you do :)

violet and cousin sean are great buds... he is a major sweetheart :)

and check out grandma's christmas village in the background. she put her collection out this year and it was amazing!!

and the kids loved helping put ornaments on the tree this year :) it's been so much fun having our Christmas decor up... and up early!

McKinney has a wonderful Christmas celebration in the downtown square and so we went and had fun sampling the food, listening to live music, enjoying the decor and riding the train with Frosty :)

and lastly for November we found some time to head to the park with sweet friends...

always a good time :)
