While it's fresh on my mind I had to share these two things today... One, I just LOOOVE the way my little Picasso is writing her name! Check out that lower case "e" :) I think it's simply wonderful and I never want to forget this!
Two, if you're in the market for a good children's story Bible, The Big Picture Story Bible is great!! (We bought it on recommendation as well) We have hundreds of books and this is the thing that Violet wants to read before nap and bed... really, for the past couple months. When looking for a Bible story book for her I wanted something that went from the beginning to the end of the Bible and this one does. It tells lots of good stories in order, isn't too wordy, allows room for question and explanations and has beautiful illustration! She loves the story of the Blind Man, Lazarus, all about Jesus... the cool thing is she gets hooked on one for a while and then another. We have recently had lots of good discussion!
