It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!
We have been sooo enjoying this wonderful holiday season. I feel like this year is really the first year Violet has begun to grasp the true meaning and that excites me! In fact, she got to sing a little song about "Mary and Joseph had a baby boy" in her preschool Christmas program... the video at the bottom. She practiced and practiced at home for a few weeks before :) It was so cute and she was so proud of herself when she got home! We are excited for Weston to have his first Christmas!! He has still been working hard on his sitting up and is almost there- YEY!! I'm hoping he can sit to open a present or two :)

McKinney has a special Christmas celebration "Dickens of a Christmas" on the square every year and it sure is fun! Carousel rides, vendors, food, train rides, carolers, fake snow, etc- It's a blast!

And here is our very own gingerbread house creation! After watching Max and Ruby make one on TV we thought it would be a great idea to make one of our own... and when I mentioned it Violet immediately said "let's use icing sugar"!! It was a hit!
