We started getting serious about potty training a week ago Thursday. Truthfully I had put it off because I was thinking it was going to be so much harder than it has been. I was dreading trecking into stores and having to put her on the public potty. She was completely ready for it and I know that has helped. I made up this little potty chart below for some motivation and she would get a "special surprise" after she reached 8 stickers. Well, before I knew it (on like day 2) she was getting to 8 stickers way too easy and luckily I had a few Christmas presents (books) bought early I could use for surprises! But, really that's a good thing :) We are so proud of her!!



I also wanted to post this picture of her coloring because she has gotten much more interested in sitting and coloring lately. She has always loved playing with art supplies, but now she isn't just playing with the box, lid, putting them in and out, marking every now and then... now she's really concentrating and coloring. And she's even able to control it well enough to stay in the lines mostly. It's precious to watch :) She also loves her dot markers, regular markers, stamping and painting right now. She is usually a willing helper around the house and I've been trying to remind myself to include her in on things like tossing in the laundry.
