Happy Half Birthday, Weston!

Our sweet little guy is 6 months! Hard to believe, but SO MUCH FUN!! He started eating baby food about 2 weeks ago! We had let him try cereal earlier, but held off on really giving him food up until now and he sure does love it. In fact, now when he watches us eat he smacks and sucks his spit so loud I always feel bad for him! So far he has tried zucchini, peas, sweet potatoes and applesauce purees!! His favorite so far was the sweet potatoes. I bought Cooking for Baby and it's full of wonderful tips on making baby food it's been super duper easy so far... wish I had done it with Violet!
Other things Weston is doing:
-reaching out for our faces, studying faces
-grabbing and playing more with toys
-strengthening his core! He raises his legs and bangs them down hard in his crib
-lots of practicing sitting up, but very wobbly still
-strong legs can hold his weight for a good 5 seconds
-loves hearing music and when we sing to him

Today we went up to TI to see daddy's office. Since no one was there Violet had fun running up and down the hallways. We always talk about Daddy going to work, so it was super fun for her to see where it is. When I asked her if she wanted to work at TI one day she was very matter of fact when she said "yes!"- so cute!
