HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MISS AVA CAROLINE GREIDER!! we're so happy to have a new friend born into the world today. congrats to her sweet mommy and daddy! we know they will be super parents. can't wait to see all 3 of you guys :)

what have we been up to?? miss violet and i have been going to baby bootcamp...  i've needed to get this booty in gear for a while now, so there's nothing like having a post-baby body to encourage that. it's a super tough workout for someone like me who hasn't done much exercise since college... or for anyone pre or postnatal it's a great way to workout with baby. violet seems to enjoy looking around at the trees while mommy and our instructor plus about 5  other mommies and their babies workout. i would recommend it to any mommy. i'm nicer to the dogs and have a better outlook on life in general when i go. 

tonight we met up with some of the ladies and kids from our small group to swim. violet made her bathing suit debut and was sooooo cute (i know i'm biased, but she really was!)... pictures to come soon!!! she was a good sport about the whole thing (she doesn't particularly enjoy bath time, so this was just like that on a greater scale... we'll try again in a couple months at nonny and pop's house) but we managed a few good pictures and then put on the sunglasses and watched the big kids before taking a nap. i had fun talking with the other moms.

violet has also started laughing a lot more and it's sweeter than cherry pie! she's such a good natured, happy, sweet little girl. she has a great personality and her laugh always makes the day better. sometimes it happens when i'm just changing her clothes and she surprises me with a giggle... sometimes it's when i'm trying to make it happen, either way it's priceless, so i will try to get a good video of it and post... i'm going to work on getting some better video on here for all you 14 people that voted in our poll :)
