Summer must officially be over cause guess what?! Violet had tryouts for the nutcracker on Saturday! This year she is old enough to be in her school's performance. They call it tryouts but really all girls who want to participate can- it's just how they decide their roles. Pretty certain since Violet is the youngest age group that she will be an angel. And super fun because I was an angel (and one of mother ginger's children) when I was growing up!
I'm so excited that she wanted to do it because it's a great performance. We saw the Dallas Repertoire Ballet's (which is ADA's company) performance last year and it was top notch. Will write more about it as we find out more details :)
