We had a great July 4th this year! Our neighborhood has a fun little parade in the morning and so we decided to dress up the wagon and go for the walk. It was a really festive way to start the day off and the kids loved it! It's also nice to see and meet more of our neighbors. There are some really sweet people living around us!
I couldn't get them to look at the camera!! Imagine that... I guess there were just a few red white and blue distractions in their faces.

People had their families, golf carts, and even Captain America costumes out in full force. It was really fun to see the neighbors get into it! Not many spectators cause most were walking, but fun all the same :)

And then THE BEST part of the day! My sister and her fam drove into town to stay with us for a week!!! Violet was soooooo excited to see them!
Boys will be boys!! Our yard enjoyed them being here. I don't think it's had that much playing in it ever. We loved it!!
Violet and Will made some really cool artwork together. You know she loved that!
We all loved having them with us. It's such a treat for us to be with Jenn, Chris and the boys. It doesn't happen often enough! So we are on our way to some fun in the sun and to hang out in their neck of the woods!! to be continued.... :)
