violet's first recital

tonight was violet's first ballet/tap recital!! it was so fun and we thoroughly enjoyed every last bit of it! she had the most beautiful costume and did a fabulous job on stage dancing. her class this year is a mommy-and-me class, so for the recital her teacher asked the mommies to stand in the back and help their daughter if they forgot the steps. violet did so well and i hardly had to help her with any of it. we were all so proud of her :) after she finished we went out in the audience where she sat captivated watching all of the bigger girls dance and trying to follow along with their dances too! at the end she got to go back up on the stage for the grand finale and was able to dance with some of the older girls!! what a thrill :) she is so precious and has the sweetest little heart. it was a blessing to watch it shine out in her dancing tonight!
