back to school!

today was violet's first day back to preschool! wow, what a change from the beginning of last year. my little gal is growing up and i can see her self-confidence shining through. she walked in and didn't skip a beat... just started playing :) that made me so happy for her, but at the same time a tad sad for myself.





i reminded her "mommy will be back to pick you up", but that was unnecessary... this what the scene when i left and she was fine on her own :) however i will say when i came back to pick her up and she saw me she started crying... i think it was one of those i-missed-you-and-now-that-i-see-you-i'm-going-to-cry cries. oh, my sweet 2 year old sweetheart :) we are looking forward to a great year!
