lucky lady

Wow... yesterday I turned 31!! And what a lucky lady I am... I'm only writing about my birthday to tell you what a WONDERFUL husband I have. Yes, I'm bragging :) Carter is so sweet and good to me and our kids. For my birthday present, on Friday he gave me a day ALL TO MYSELF!! For those of you that are mommies you know how very special and rare that is... of course, not that I would rather spend my days any other way than with my two sweet babies, but it was so nice to have time aloooooone. Here's what I did... SLEPT in until 9:30!!!!!!!!! Went to lunch with my treasured friend Sherry Beall, had a HOUR AND A HALF...... drum roll please....... HOT. STONE. MASSAGE. let's pause to relax and just think about it..... pause................. soooo nice!!!............ :) then I had a little free time to shop at Watters Creek, and finally he called in grandma and grandpa to watch the kiddos while we went to dinner ALL. BY. OURSELVES. at Rick's Chophouse on the square (SOOO YUM!) then it was back home for a delicious strawberry cake made by my sweet mother-in-law. It was a glorious celebration and COMPLETELY overshadowed the fact that I had a terrible migraine on my actual birthday yesterday. Great planning baby, I love you. Thank you for being so thoughtful and loving me so much!! Only 364 days until the next one... I'll be counting down while having fun with my precious V&W :)
