This past week

We went for our first family walk around the neighborhood! Whewww, is it getting hot or what?! Summertime has arrived!

Violet looooooves Weston's crib. She loves it even more when they are in it together :) He hasn't spent much time in it yet because he is sleeping in his bassinet in our room, but I was so excited when I put him in it and he watched his mobile! At 3 weeks! Way to go!!

Both of my sweet babies are so precious to me! This is my favorite way to spend my days... one little love in each arm :)

Weston decided to join in for story time before bed. Looks like he just gets to listen to the stories at this point, but he has enjoyed being included in the bedtime routine so far :)

Violet continues to completely amaze me everyday. Here she was sorting the butterflies from her Elefun game into the correct color net. This was totally on her own with no direction from me. What a little thinker :)

She spelled out her name with the letters from her alphabet puzzle on June 6!!

And as a former art teacher I was pretty impressed when we sat down with the dot markers yesterday and she colored in her bear picture so well! She was being so careful to get all the white parts colored in. I just absolutely love watching her learn and grow everyday!

She sat down at her little red piano today and decided to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star while "playing" along. I thought it was just too precious not to capture on video :) Am I proud of my little girl or what?!! :) XOXO
