Sanan-O

Oh, how I never ever want to forget the special weekend trip we took to San Antonio (Sanan-O as Violet calls it!). Carter and I decided we would take Violet to Sea World since she has an interest in animals of all sorts now and what better time than before baby boy arrives in May. We had the most fabulous time with our super sweet lil gal :) If nothing else, this trip reaffirmed to me how exciting the world can be. I have been to Sea World a handful of times in the past, but seeing it all through Violet's eyes for the first time was so much fun! Literally everything we did she greeted with such enthusiasm and happiness. Simply staying at the hotel was an exciting adventure in itself :) It was total joy and I feel extremely blessed by our loving God above to have a caring and sweet husband, a precious little girl and a sweet baby boy on the way to experience these things with, some new for the second time!

Here are some of the Sea World pictures and videos (warning: there are quite a few)... lots more to come from the rest of the trip in another post!

On our way in the car- a lil sleepy still and not quite sure of what lies ahead.

First stop, morning dolphin feeding... They were happy, friendly and very hungry!

This picture cracks me up- Carter looks so worried that the dolphins will not like his fish!

Woah... the shark tank was swarming!

Shamu's "Happy Harbor" was a great place for the younger kids to climb around and have a super fun time getting out some energy!

...oh yeah, and daddies have fun climbing around too :)

The ducks were hungry, too!

This one almost looked fake

Getting ready for the main attraction... SHAMU!!!

He and his buddies (including a 350 lb baby killer whale) gave a great performance! It left Violet chanting "Shamu, Shamu, Shamu!" So cute :)

Watching the roller coasters at our picnic lunch. Violet was very interested in this and watched it over and over again... I think we may have a little dare devil on our hands. Daddy will have to volunteer to go with her on those in the future!

One of my most favorite pictures from the whole weekend :)

Cooling off during the Sea Lion show

Is somebody getting tired? When the burp cloth comes out you know a nap is close to follow.

The enormous walrus made his appearance during the show!

Konk! Out like a light and just what she needed to recharge her batteries before doing most of the above activities one more time in the afternoon!
