Carter, Violet, Jack and Jonas and I drove down to Harlingen last week and we got a wonderful surprise! Our new nephew/cousin was born early!!... and that just doesn't happen in our family. Luke Owen Lowery was born on the 10th and weighed 7lb 7oz. He is such a sweet, handsome and agreeable baby already. I just can't believe how I forgot how small they are at the beginning! He is such a little bundle :)
Big brother Grant was so much fun to hang out with. We played Nintendo DS together lots and he got to spend the night at Nonny's house a few nights too. He and Jack snuggled... they are good friends now!! Grant is such a sweet boy and so kind and caring to both of his younger brothers. I am always impressed with how smart he is and how good he is at everything he does, but this time his kindness really shown through loud and clear. I am so proud of him.
New big brother Will was so cute as well! He is a creative genius!!! He decided to get a box and decorate it with all sorts of "supplies". He really stuck with it too. The room was covered with his materials! I will never forget one night at Nonny's house... he couldn't sleep and he told me that he had "too much art in his head"!!! He is the master at coming up with new things to decorate :) He is so careful and sweet with his new little brother as well. I know that he is going to be really good at showing Luke lots of new things.
